BELIEVER.

Picture
At the age of 16 when things were turbulent at home, Arista Michelle sat in church and said to God, "It sounds wonderful that you died for me. But it doesn't mean anything. Please make it mean something and I'll come back to church."

A few months later, Arista Michelle met a friend who invited her to a church where Jesus' death and

resurrection did mean something to the people there, and she wanted whatever it was that they had. Having been an overachiever all her life, she was weighed down by the pressures from her parents, friends, and school.

Though she excelled, she still felt insufficient. Arista Michelle then realized that her accomplishments and talents did not define her.
The Lord showed her that her true identity is in Him. Not only did God make Jesus' death and resurrection mean something to her, it means EVERYTHING to her.

"Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest."  Matthew 11:28
